Monochrome

Hi Everybody!  It's Chris here, my week to host the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge.  That means I get to pick the top three from our last challenge so if you entered a card into our "Buttons" challenge you'll want to know if you're a winner or one of the top three.  So without further ado here are my top three picks, in entry number order:

1 - #5 Jackie
2 - #85 - Lou Mac
3 - #105 - Margreet

Our winner of the Bugaboo prize chosen by random is
Congratulations!  I know you're going to have a blast picking your images.  Have fun but don't forget to come back here to play along with us in this fortnight's challenge.
Here's what you've all been waiting for - out theme is "Monochromatic".  Just in case you are unfamiliar with this term that means you can only use one color with the exception of coloring skin and hair on your image.   So if you've got a cute little girl and you've picked blue for your color you don't have to make her hair and skin blue, unless of course you want to do that.  I don't find that weird.  I go with the Sesame Street approach and whatever color you want your person to be is fine with me.  But I digress... So I reiterate - use just ONE COLOR, you can use as many shades of that color as you like.  So pick a color and get cracking.  You are going to want to be in this challenge because we are being sponsored by Saturated Canary.  That's right, Saturated Canary. You know you'd like to have some of those in your stash so like I said before get cracking.
If you're having trouble getting inspired check out the gorgeous work that our design team has done.  Every other week I am blown away by the samples.  If you have some time stop over at their blogs and leave them a little love, we all appreciate it when you leave comments.

  5. Great inspiration from the DT.

I just realised that the only stamping on my card is a small sentiment. So if it doesn't fit I don't mind if you delete it! My entry is no.50
